The transparent kayak (also known clear crystal kayak) is a popular recreational sightseeing kayak manufactured using a single-piece, high-transparency polycarbonate (PC) thermoforming process. Unlike traditional plastic, fiberglass, or inflatable kayaks, it is entirely transparent, earning it names such as "glass kayak" or "crystal canoe."

The hulls are primarily available in single-person and two-person (dual-cockpit) models, with standard dimensions of approximately 330–340 cm in length, 85–95 cm in width, and 33–38 cm in depth. They come fully equipped with a reinforced 6061 anodized aluminum frame, a detachable and adjustable thickened foam seat, orange safety pontoons on both sides, an aluminum alloy double-bladed paddle, and a retractable directional skeg.

The bare hull weighs only 21–28 kg; the two-person model has a rated load capacity of 180–220 kg, while the single-person model supports 100–130 kg, making them easy to maneuver for both adults and teenagers.

The hull features a double-sided UV-resistant coating with 92% light transmission, allowing for clear underwater visibility up to 3 meters deep in calm, shallow waters. The hull is constructed from imported food-grade Lexan (Bayer) polycarbonate sheet—the same material used for bulletproof glass and diving masks—with a thickness of 6mm:

1. Impact strength is 250–300 times that of ordinary glass and 30 times that of acrylic; it resists cracking upon impact with reefs or underwater debris.

2. Weighs only half as much as glass of the same thickness, making it lightweight and easy to transport.

3. Resistant to seawater corrosion, acids, and alkalis; it does not turn white or swell even after prolonged immersion.

4. Features a dual-layer UV-resistant coating; it resists yellowing, fogging, and loss of transparency during long-term outdoor sun exposure.

5. Manufactured using a one-piece vacuum thermoforming process; seamless construction ensures a watertight seal and prevents leakage.
